SERVICED_SOCKET_CREATE

An attempt by the Services PICs process (serviced) to create a new socket for communication with an interface client failed with an error. This is relevant only to GGSN (Gateway GPRS Support Node), and only applies to M Series routers.

When a SERVICED_SOCKET_CREATE error occurs, a message similar to the following is reported:
SERVICED_SOCKET_CREATE: <function-name>: socket create failed with error: <reason> (<error-code>)

An internal software failure occurred when serviced failed to create a new socket.

Examine the following output to help determine the cause of this message:
show log messages
Look for any related events that occurred at or just before the SERVICED_SOCKET_CREATE message.
